Contributions of Behavior Analysis to the study of the phehomenon of xenophobia: a literature review

The refugees crisis is an issue of great social relevance, which in turn, followed by a discussion about behaviors related to rejection towards foreigners, named as xenophobia. Given the importance this theme, along with perspective potential behavior analysts debates for issues solving, purpose study was perform literature review xenophobia, covering published papers whose theoretical reference sup­ported Behavior Analysis. search conducted through keywords “xenophobia”, “refugees” or “terrorism”, April 2021, on PsycINFO APA database and seven national international Analysis journals. results led papers, all English between 1991 2019. Five them consisted empirical studies, whereas other two presented contributions. It outstanding that most part these inves­tigate prejudice against Middle East people, under argument that, from September 11 Attacks on, North Americans population people has increased. Despite its urgency, no applied research topic found among aforementioned ones were based conflicting relations paradigm.
